What does ‘not offsettable deduction’ mean on my payslip?
Answer
This has to do with agreed deductions (e.g. health insurance or housing costs). You may also have an outstanding fine. If we can’t recover the amount out of your salary at the time, you will see it described as 'non offsettable'.
And that's handy. That way, you know exactly what could still be deducted from your salary in the coming period.
