Alfonso and David’s story

For David and Alfonso, moving abroad meant more than just starting a new job. It meant discovering a workplace where sustainability, teamwork and growth go hand in hand. At Elho, they quickly felt that they had made the right choice.

A job that changes every day

David has been part of the logistics team for five months. “No two days are the same,” he says. “Sometimes I’m packing, other days I’m picking pots in the warehouse, or I’m working at expedition to prepare shipments.” The variety keeps the work dynamic and interesting. “From the very first day I knew this would be my best job in the Netherlands.”

Guided from day one

Alfonso, who supervises in logistics, explains how new colleagues are welcomed. “We take time to connect with them. Supervisors guide them on their first day and then a buddy joins to support the training process.” With clear communication in English and a safe, modern environment, the start feels smooth and structured.

More than just work

Elho is known for celebrating achievements together. “We like to create moments,” Alfonso shares. “When the weather is hot, there’s free ice cream. And sometimes we organize a big BBQ where everyone joins in.” Outside of shifts there’s also time to relax, chat with supervisors or play football with colleagues.

The people make it special

David enjoys the work, but what really stands out to him are the friendships. “I’ve made a lot of friends here, and some of them will be for life,” he says. “The job itself isn’t difficult, you just have to use your mind to make it easier. But what makes it unforgettable are the people.”
