Aldana’s story

Some jobs are just a job. But sometimes a job becomes the start of something bigger. That’s exactly what happened to Aldana. What started as a role on the work floor grew into a leadership position and a whole new life in the Netherlands.

Growing step by step

Aldana’s journey with HOBIJ began on the work floor. “I started as an order picker,” she says. “Later, I became second line, helping the team leaders while also working closely with the team. And now, I’m a team leader myself.”

Her role is all about connecting with people. “The best part about working here is the people,” she explains. “You get to talk with them, get to know them, and see how they’re doing. Many of them are also new to the Netherlands, just like I was, so I understand exactly what they’re going through.”

Opportunities to grow

Aldana decided to move to the Netherlands because she saw possibilities for her future.
“Here, you have a lot of opportunities to grow. My experience shows that if you work hard and bring energy, you can achieve what you want,” she says.
