Production Worker Mixing Department

Introduction

Do you enjoy practical work, but also want responsibility in your job? At Wendjoe, you will work in the mixing department. Here, different raw materials are combined according to recipes to make products such as sambal and sauces.
You will work with pumps, mixing installations and a forklift. It is important that you work accurately, but also that you are not afraid of physical work. Some raw materials, for example, come in bags weighing up to 25 kg.

What are you going to do?

As a production worker in the mixing department, you make sure the right raw materials are combined in the correct quantities. You work according to recipes and clear production instructions. Your tasks include:

• Collecting, checking and preparing raw materials
• Pumping liquid raw materials to the correct installation
• Weighing and adding ingredients according to the recipe
• Mixing and processing different raw materials
• Adding raw materials manually, including bags weighing up to 25 kg
• Operating and checking pumps, mixing installations and other production equipment
• Moving raw materials and materials with a forklift
• Checking that the production process is running correctly and reporting any problems
• Recording production and cleaning information
• Cleaning the installations and your working area
• Working according to quality, hygiene and food safety rules

What are the working hours?

You work Monday to Friday in a day shift. 

Who are you?

For this position, we are looking for someone who likes practical work and can work accurately. You:

• Speak and understand Dutch and English well
• Have experience driving a forklift and can work with it safely and independently
• Are physically able to lift and handle raw materials and bags weighing up to 25 kg
• Work in a clean and hygienic way
• Can work accurately according to recipes
• Are flexible and help your colleagues when needed
• Enjoy working in a small team
• See what needs to be done and take initiative
• Are reliable and keep your agreements

Where will you work?

Wendjoe in Waspik is a sister company of Go-Tan. The factory produces Asian food products such as sambal, soy sauce, chilli sauce and garlic sauce. Products from the Waspik factory are supplied to customers in the Netherlands and abroad. Besides its own products, Wendjoe also produces products for private-label brands.
Wendjoe is a small-scale production environment with a close team and short communication lines. The atmosphere is informal, and you will have plenty of opportunities to develop yourself and grow within the company.
