Introduction

Do you enjoy working with machines and are you accurate? At Zinkunie in Boxtel, you make metal products for roofs and facades. You work in 2 shifts, receive a 13.3% shift allowance and join a practical team where quality and teamwork are important. 

What are you going to do?

As an operator, you work with different machines for beading, cutting and bending sheet metal.  You set up the machines correctly, place the material in the machine and check the finished product. You work with work orders, drawings and clear work instructions.  Your tasks include: 

  • Setting up and operating machines
  • Beading, cutting and bending sheet metal
  • Checking products for size, quantity and damage
  • Working with tape measure and, when needed, an angle gauge
  • Moving products to the next workstation 
  • Packing products and preparing them for storage
  • Identifying small machine problems and solving them when possible
  • Carrying out small daily maintenance tasks 
  • Keeping your workplace clean, tidy and safe
The work can be repetitive. This job is therefore a good fit for someone who enjoys practical production work and does not mind doing the same tasks often.  When needed, you may also use a forklift to move materials within the production area. 

What are the working hours?

You work in a 2-shift system: 

  • From 06:00 - 14:00 
  • From 14:00 - 22:00 

Who are you?

  • You are motivated and enjoy practical production work 
  • You do not mind repetitive work 
  • You work accurately and pay attention to quality 
  • You are willing to work in 2 shifts
  • You speak English at minimum B2 level 
  • Experience in production or working with machines is a plus 

What do you get?

At Zinkunie, you will earn a gross hourly wage between €16.55 and €20.23, depending on your experience. Your salary is paid out weekly on Friday.  And that's not all. 

  • 13.3% shift allowance on top of your salary

Zinkunie produces and supplies materials for roofs and facades. From its location in Boxtel, the company produces custom-made products for customers in the construction industry every day. Around 220 employees work at Zinkunie. The working atmosphere is practical and professional. Together, you make sure customers receive their products quickly and with the right quality.
