Order picker deep freeze

What are you going to do?

As an order picker in the deep-freeze department, you collect frozen products for Sligro's customers. You work in a controlled freezer environment of around -20 degrees Celcius. It is cold, but you are not alone. You receive protective work clothing, clear instructions and support from a buddy during your first period.    You drive through the distribution center with an electric collection truck. Your orders appear on a terminal, and you use a finger scanner to pick the right products. You collect orders for several clients at the same time, so it is important that you work accurately and keep a good pace.    You work in a small, motivated team with colleagues who are well prepared for the cold. Together, you make sure all orders are complete, correct and ready on time.    Your tasks include:   

• Work in a cold environment of around -20 degrees Celcius
• Drive an electric collection truck through the distribution center
• Use a terminal and finger scanner to collect orders
• Pick frozen products for several customers at the same time
• Check that orders are complete and correct 

What are the working hours?

You will work in a day shift or in 2 shifts:   

• The day shift is - Monday to Friday - from 07:00 to 15:15
• The morning shift is - Monday to Friday - from 06:00 to 13:00
• The afternoon shift is - Monday to Thursday - from 13:00 to 21:00 and 07:00 to 12:00 on Saturday

Who are you?

• English level B1
• Minimum 6 months experience in logistics
• Good physical health
• Driving license is a plus
• Own housing is a plus 

What do you get?

Are you 21 years old, or older? Then you will earn €14.98 gross per hour. For working in the freezer, you will get an additional allowance of €1.26 per hour.   But wait, there's more!   

• You will also get an allowance for working irregular hours varying from 25 to 100%
