What are you going to do?

This is not your average job! You will work on a large 150-meter production line where steel structures are sawn, drilled, blasted and painted. You will work with modern machinery and learn something new every day!  Your tasks include:

  • Operating and monitoring the Voortman line
  • Working at different stations, such as sawing, drilling, blasting and painting
  • Checking if the production process runs smoothly
  • Moving materials with an overhead crane
  • Performing basic maintenance and cleaning of the machines
  • Keeping your workplace clean and safe
  • Working together with the team to reach production goals
This is a physically active job. You move a lot during the day and work with large materials. Experience is useful, but motivation and willingness to learn are most important. You do not need an overhead crane certificate yet. ThyssenKrupp will help you get this certificate.  An impression of working at ThyssenKrupp (video is in Dutch).
