Introduction
Do you have the skills to fabricate carbon steel constructions based on technical drawings? Then this is the opportunity for you.
What are you going to do?
Your tasks will include fitting structural beams and parts for staircases, landings, and handrails. You must be able to read technical (European-style) drawings, as all fitting is done based on these. In some cases, you will be asked to tack-weld using the 135 welding process (MAG/GMAW). Please note: we are mainly looking for a Fabricator, not a full-time welder. But if you can do both, that's definitely a plus!
What are the working hours?
The working hours are from 07.30 to 16.30. Overtime on Saturdays is sometimes possible.
Who are you?
- You speak and read English (B2 level)
- You can preferably read technical drawings
- You are able to set parameters of a welding machine by yourself
- You are reliable and committed
- You have experience with tack welding (135 process)
- Preferably valid welding certificates, if not HOBIJ is able to provide it for you
What do you get?
A salary of €16.50 - €20.00 per hour (based on your experience and welding skills)
In addition:
- 10.5% holiday allowance
- Many opportunities to learn and grow (including training at our in-house welding school)
- A fun Friday afternoon drink at the company's own café to start your weekend right
Where will you work?
Bersselaar Construction designs, produces, and assembles high-quality structures made from carbon steel, aluminium, and stainless steel. They work in non-residential construction, offshore energy, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. This family business is located in Udenhout and values reliability. They are looking for motivated and skilled new team members.
For the Carbon Steel department, we are looking for experienced people who can make structures like H-beams, U-beams, and I-beams, using technical drawings. The team also builds staircases, landings, and handrails.
