Warehouse worker (freezer)

What are you going to do?

In the freezer department, you are an important part of the team. You will work with many other people in the warehouse.  Your tasks will be:

  • Picking orders
  • Sorting and organizing products
  • Checking the quality of products 
  • Keeping your work area clean and safe 
Because you work in the freezer at -20C°, Udea gives you warm clothes and extra breaks to stay comfortable. 

What are the working hours?

You will be working between 06:00 - 23:00.

Who are you?

  • You are motivated and ready to work 
  • You speak English or Dutch (at least B1 level) 
  • You are okay with working in a cold area (we give you warm clothing) 
  • You pay attention to details and like to work with others
  • You have experience in logistics
  • You have experience with EPT and/or reach truck 

What do you get?

  • Salary of:

    € 14.71 per hour for 21+ years
    € 11.25 per hour for 20 years
    € 8.44   per hour for 19 years
    € 7.03   per hour for 18 years
  • For the reach truck position the salary is € 15.37 per hour

    In addition:

  • A freezer bonus of € 2.60 per hour
  • 8% holiday allowance
  • Chance for a long-term job and a contract 
  • Warm clothes and shoes for the cold 
  • Extra money for working late and on weekends: 

    40% shift allowance from Monday to Saturday between 00:00 - 06:00 and Sunday to Friday between 23:00 - 00:00.
    25% shift allowance from Monday to Friday between 19:00 - 23:00 and Saturday between 15:00 - 23:00.
    50% shift allowance on Saturday and Sunday between 23:00 - 00:00.
    100% shift allowance on public holidays.
 
  • Good to know... It's possible to work with a friend or with someone you know! This happens in good consultation. They may live in a different house, and work in different shifts or departments. 

Where will you work?

Udea is a wholesaler of organic food, natural drugstore items, and eco-friendly products. Udea also owns the organic supermarket chains Ekoplaza and Marqt. Most of the work is focused on the Benelux region, where Udea delivers to organic stores and the food service industry.
