Warehouse worker

What are you going to do?

Before starting, you will tour the company. On the day of the tour, it will be decided which department you will work in. All new warehouse employees start in the inboud or outbound departments. You may be assigned to one of the following departments. Your tasks will include:   Outbound (Warehouse Loader): 

• Collecting packages from the conveyor belt 
• Checking and reporting damaged boxes or parts
• Efficiently filling the trailing 

  Inbound (Warehouse unloader): 

• Unloading boxes from containers or trucks
• Sorting boxes by SKU number 
• Building full and stable pallets

  We are also looking for experienced reach truck and combi truck drivers. If you have a valid Dutch or English certificate and at least 1 year of experience, you can do a test on your first day. If you pass, you can start working in these departments right away.   Grow your future at vidaXL At vidaXL, you can do more than just work, you can grow. Start in inbound or outbound, and if you show motivation, good performance and speak basic English, you can move to other departments like order picking, quality control, labelling, or packaging & wrapping.

What are the working hours?

You will work during one of the following shifts: Monday to Friday and Sunday:

• From 6:00 to 15:00
• From 7:00 to 16:00
• There is a possibility that you will be scheduled between 15:00 until 24:00 (Monday-Friday)

vida XL is closed on Saturdays.

Who are you?

• You have a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work 
• You need to speak Basic English, Polish or Romanian
• You pay attention to details, work well with others, and enjoy being part of a team
• Experience in logistics is not required but definitely a plus 
• The work is physically demanding

What do you get?

A starting salary of €14.40 per hour.

• After 1,5 months (240 hours): €14.60 per hour  
• After 6 months (1040 hours): €14.80 per hour  

In addition:

• 10,5% holiday allowance 
• The possibility of a long-term contract

• The opportunity to take a Dutch language course after six months  
• A work schedule from Monday to Friday, with weekends off
