What are you going to do?

Ensure the optimal functioning of a team of employees through organization, planning, supervision, and control of work execution, so that the objectives in the areas of customer satisfaction and cost are met.

  • Leadership
    • Coaching, motivating, and supervising a group of employees
    • Monitoring and controlling the quality of the delivered work using the provided management information
    • Discussing reported complaints with other team leaders and employees to prevent recurrence
    • Reporting sick and recovered employees in the absenteeism file and conducting performance reviews
  • Productivity
    • Achieving the productivity standard considering available hours and expected turnover
    • Preparing weekly and monthly plans regarding the deployment of employees
    • Adjusting the feasibility of the planning in consultation with the Production Manager
    • Creating the right conditions in the process to maximize and maintain productivity and quality (staff deployment, atmosphere, adherence to instructions, etc.)
    • Direct supervision of employees to meet and improve productivity standards
    • Recording the worked hours of employees according to the relevant work windows to ensure correct payment by the payroll department
  • Order, Cleanliness, and Safety
    • Supervising personal grooming and the wearing of clean clothing and safety shoes by employees
    • Maintaining order, cleanliness, and safety within the department
    • Responsible for the correct use of available resources in the department, focusing on damage reduction through direct supervision and control
    • Authorized to refuse deliveries in case of a CCP (Critical Control Point) violation
  • Night Work
    • Making decisions in escalations when the Production Manager or Control Manager is not present. Decisions are made based on established policies and agreements regarding work execution, considering safety and regulations
    • Decision-making is always carried out by the designated team leader with the “shift leader” role
    • The team leader with the “shift leader” role is responsible for guiding the night process and acting decisively in escalations and unforeseen circumstances
  • What are the working hours?

    The Team Leader role may also involve shift work during the day, evening, and night. Occasionally working in cold and freezer rooms.

    Who are you?

  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to coach, motivate, and supervise a team effectively.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience on similar position.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with English level B2 AND/OR Dutch (B2).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to make decisions and handle escalations, especially during night shifts.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to work in shifts, including day, evening, and night, and occasionally in cold and freezer rooms.
  • Driving license or own accommodation in short distance from worklocation.
  • Commitment to Long-Term Growth: Desire to grow within the company and contribute to a positive, long-term work environment.
  • What do you get?

    Scale 6/7 of the GIL CAO (Salary is as follows: minimum €2,748.00 and maximum €3,718.00)*
    A compensation allowance of €150 gross per month for working on the night shift.

    *NOTE! This is based on 40 hours per week instead of 36 hours per week. Therefore, no overtime can be recorded.

    Where will you work?

    Sligro Food Group is a food service company that directly and indirectly targets the entire market of eating and drinking people. Deliveries to customers in the region are made from the Delivery Service locations.  Logistical operations are carried out through a sophisticated logistical organization, automated ordering systems, and various means. Delivery Service locations and Central Distribution are managed by a branch director or CDC manager, who is supported by various staff members.
