What are you going to do?

As a cutting/production employee, you and the team are responsible for cutting all vegetables processed within "Udea Snijderij". After cutting, vegetables are carefully washed, dried, and, if necessary, mixed into end products such as soup vegetables and raw vegetables.  In addition to cutting, you also perform other common tasks such as:

  • Tidying up
  • Cleaning
  • Preparing products
Good to know: you will work in a small team of different nationalities, mainly communicating in English.

What are the working hours?

Your working days are Tuesday through Saturday from 7:00 to 16:00, or until the work is completed.

Who are you?

  • You have a good and enthusiastic work attitude
  • You have a B1 level in English or Dutch
  • You can tolerate working in cold environments (about 5 degrees). Of course, the necessary clothing and boots will be provided
  • You are detail-oriented, collaborative, and capable of working well in a team
  • You are flexible in attitude and working hours
  • You are physically fit

What do you get?

  • Salary of:

    € 13,68 per hour for 21+ years
    € 10,94 per hour for 20 years
    € 8,21 per hour for 19 years
    € 6,84 per hour for 18 years

    In addition:

  • 10.5% holiday allowance
  • Fulltime position
  • Possibility of long-term employment and receiving a contract
  • Allowance on salary for working during irregular times:

    40% Shift allowance from Monday to Saturday between 00:00 - 06:00 and Sunday to Friday 23:00 - 00:00.
    25% Shift allowance from Monday to Friday between 19:00 - 23:00 and Saturday 15:00 - 23:00
    50% Shift allowance on Sundays 00:00 - 23:00, and Saturdays between 23:00 - 00:00.
    100% Shift allowance on holidays.

Udea is a wholesaler of organic food, natural drugstore products, and sustainable non-food items. Additionally, Udea serves as the franchisor for the organic supermarket chains Ekoplaza and Marqt. It primarily focuses on the Benelux region, supplying organic specialists and the food service industry.
