What are you going to do?

As a Milling Operator at Sif, you have varied and precise work, playing a crucial role in our mission to produce offshore foundations for wind turbines, thereby making the energy transition a reality. Sif is one of the largest manufacturers of steel tubes (up to 1,000 tons) for offshore wind turbines. Within our close-knit and dedicated team, you can make a difference. What will you do?

• As a Milling Operator at Sif, you work with milling machines specially designed for Sif.
• You are responsible for the machining of massive plates of approximately 42 tons and 27 meters long.
• You input programs into the automatic milling machine for the pre-processing of the plates. Since they work with such unique machines, you will always receive training.
• You work with a diverse team of various nationalities in a large hall.
• You collaborate with other operators, maintenance technicians, and quality controllers to ensure that our foundations meet the highest standards.

What are the working hours?

You will work in a 3 shift system. 06:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 22:00, 22:00 - 06:00. 

Who are you?

Who are you? You have:

•  A VCA Basic certificate in Dutch or English.
• Level B2 of the English language. 
• You have relevant experience in the field, such as in metalworking.
• A driver's license B
• Precision and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work in our 3-shift system.

What do you get?

•  An excellent salary based on your experience. Concretely this means: 
  
  Junior (1-3 years of experience): Between 14,95 and 16,73 gross per hour. 
  Medior (3-5 years of experience): Between 16,73 and 19,47 gross per hour. 
  Senior (6+ years of experience): Between 19,47 and 23,43 gross per hour.
