Warehouse worker

Introduction

Looking for a stable warehouse job with different tasks and opportunities? At Udea, you will work in a friendly team and help prepare organic and sustainable products for customers. You department will depend on your experience and the available positions. 

What are you going to do?

As a warehouse worker, you can be placed in different departments. Your exact position depends on the available work. You may work in: 

• Incoming Goods: checking deliveries, inspecting products quality and quantity, registering pallets, and unpacking or repacking goods.
• Reach Truck: moving pallets between warehouse locations and preparing them for storage or transport.
• Decant: scanning products, placing them in trays and refilling the automated storage system.
• Adapto Order Picking: picking orders from the automated system, checking containers and preparing them for expedition.
• Regular Order Picking: collecting products with a scanner and placing them on roll containers or pallets.
• Expedition: checking completed orders, sorting containers by route and preparing them for transport.
• Fust and Packaging: sorting, cleaning and preparing empty crates and containers for reuse.

What are the working hours?

You will be working between 06:00 - 23:00.

Who are you?

• You have experience in logistics or warehouse work
• You speak English or Dutch at B1 level
• You work accurately and responsibly
• You can work well in a team
• You are flexible with tasks, departments and working hours
• You can work in a cool or cold environment
• You are physically able to stand, walk and move products during your shift

• Salary of:
  € 14.99 per hour for 21+ years

• 8% holiday allowance
• Possibility of long-term employment and receiving a contract
• We will provide clothing and shoes for the cool environment
• Allowance on salary for working during irregular times:
  
  40% Shift allowance from Monday to Saturday between 00:00 - 06:00 and Sunday to Friday between 23:00 - 00:00.
  25% Shift allowance from Monday to Friday between 19:00 - 23:00 and on Saturday between 15:00 - 23:00.
  50% Shift allowance on Sundays from 00:00 - 23:00, and on Saturdays between 23:00 - 00:00.
  100% Shift allowance on holidays.
• Good to know: you can work with a friend or someone you know. This always happens in good consultation. They may live in a different house, and work in different shifts or departments. 

Where will you work?

Udea is a wholesaler of organic food, natural care products and sustainable non-food items. The company also supplies organic supermarket chains such as Ekoplaza and Marqt. You will work in the warehouse in Veghel. Here, products are received, checked, stored, picked and prepared for delivery.
