Introduction

Are you looking for a fun and active job in a real Dutch bakery? Then BACU in Uden is the place for you!  

What are you going to do?

You will work in the bread or banquet department. You will help with:

  • Assembling, decorating, or filling baked goods  
  • Packing, closing packages, and stacking boxes on pallets  
  • Keep your workspace clean

What are the working hours?

You will work in 3 shifts:

  • Morning shift starts between 06:00 and 08:00
  • Afternoon shift starts between 14:00 and 15:00
  • Night shift starts between 22:00 and 23:00
You can work full-time, but it is also possible to work 3-4 days a week or on-call basis.

Who are you?

  • You are motivated  
  • You speak English or Dutch  
  • You are quick and accurate  
  • You are physically fit and able to stand for a longer time
  • You are flexible and available to work on weekends
  • Visible piercings or artificial nails are not allowed while working 

What do you get?

  • Salary of:

    €14.33 per hour for 21 years and older
    €11.25 per hour for 20 years
    €9.46  per hour for 19 years
    €8.16  per hour for 18 years

    In addition:

  • 10.5% holiday allowance
  • Chance to work long-term and get a contract 
  • We will provide you with clothing and shoes, for the cool environment 
  • Possibility to make extra hours in busy periods
  Allowance on salary on irregular times:
  • 34% extra: Mon - Fri (04:00 - 06:00 & 18:00 - 24:00), Sat (04:00 - 18:00) 
  • 34% extra: Mon - Sat (00:00 - 04:00) 
  • 100% extra: Sundays and holidays, Sat (18:00 - 24:00)

Working in cooling? You get something extra: 
  • 11 - 20 hours per week: €9.40 per week 
  • 21+ hours per week: €18.94 per week

BACU bakes fresh bread and pastry every day. During your break, you can enjoy free fresh bread, and sometimes even cake or pie. The team is friendly, the culture is open, and you can even work together with friends. People from many different countries work here and feel at home.
