We add a percentage of the car’s list price to your wages. You pay tax on that amount.
The percentage you pay depends on the car’s CO2 emissions. The cleaner the car, the less additional tax. This is set by the government.
A worked example:
Imagine you drive a car worth €13,030, with an additional tax rate of 22%. Then you add €2,866.60 to your annual salary. This works out as €55.13 per week.
Please note: you will not receive this amount in your account. This is because HOBIJ has to pay tax on it to the tax authorities. We can’t make it any nicer than it is – unfortunately.
