Construction Bench Worker

Introduction

What are you going to do?

As a Construction Bench Worker, you will: 

  • Read and follow technical drawings 
  • Cut, bend, drill, weld and grind metal parts (steel, stainless steel, aluminium) 
  • Assemble and weld big structures like frames and foundations 
  • Check the quality of your own work and your team's
  • Always work safely and follow clear procedures 
You will work in a modern production facility with advanced tools and machines. Every day is different, and you'll be part of a skilled and motivated team. 

What are the working hours?

You will work in three shifts: 

  • Morning: 06:00 to 14:00 
  • Afternoon: 14:00 to 22:00 
  • Night: 22:00 to 06:00 
You get 25 vacation days per year and an extra week off around Christmas. It's common - in agreement - to return home for a short visit every 2 to 3 months. 

Who are you?

  • You speak English at B1 / B2 level 
  • You have experience with MIG / MAG and TIG welding 
  • You can read and understand technical drawings and know how to use metal working tools and techniques
  • You have a VCA certificate (or are willing to get one via us) 
  • You are physically fit and very precise 
  • You are willing to work in a 3-shift system and open to follow a paid training before starting
  • You are ready to take a short game-based assessment (online) to show us how you learn 
  • You have driving license B
  • You want a long-term job with growth possibilities 
  Education and certificates: 
  • MBO-level technical education (e.g. metal or mechanical engineering)
  • Valid welding certificates (like NIL)

What do you get?

A good salary between €15.63 and €17.94, based on experience and paid out weekly on Friday.  In addition: 

  • 8.66% holiday allowance
